How does it work?
While the unit (CarPlay Head unit) is inactive, the original video signal is passed unchanged, and your car works as before.
After activating the CarPlay Head unit, the CarPlay unit video signal is shown on the display instead.
When you reverse the car while using the CarPlay system, the system will automatically switch to the camera without manual operation.
You can easily switch system back and forth between the unit and your original head unit.
(TIPS: Press and hold the “Menu” key to switch the system)

Orders and installed in my BMW 528i. Fast and reliable shipment. Very happy with the unit. Looks and works great. Easy to install. Very stable and robust software. Be careful with handling screen it can easily be scratched. Also ordered backup camera, camera was poor quality. Low quality image and poor night vision.
Item worked great as advertised
Very easy install in a 2015 BMW 528i Xdrive. Setup was simple. You may want to disconnect the battery when doing this as I blew Fuse 105 in the trunk when squeezing the extra wires in. Great product, great price and quick shipping. Super happy with it!
